Alabama State Bridge Corporation warrants, 1929-1931.

The State Treasurer was obliged to pay all warrants drawn under the authority of law by the State Auditor on the Treasurer (Ala. Code, Chapter 25, Article 4, [1923]. This series consists of the cancelled warrants issued by the State Auditor for expenditures made by the Alabama State Bridge Corporation, a trust fund established in 1927 to assist in the construction of bridges across the state. Each warrant provides information as to whom the warrant was paid, date, the amount, the purpose of the payment, the Auditor's warrant number, and the corporation's voucher number.
